The expo? Humm.. how to describe it.. okay, the actual expo itself is in one room (one biiiggg room) and it has loads of stalls selling anime, manga, sci-fi 'stuff' and tons of merchandise. There's also guest stars who come along and sit on panels. You can ask them questions, get an autograph signing (that sort of thing). There's tons of DDR machines etc there too, mini contests etc. But probably the best part is all the cosplayers and fans there. Humm.. it's hard to sum up in words the feeling and atmosphere of it all.. it's so easy to talk to people there! Everyone is very friendly and 'willing' ;D *remembers the Sasuke guy*
-End of day, not many people about, everyone going home- *spots a random Sasuke cosplayer* Me: "Heyyyy Sasuke-kun! Can I take your photo?" Sasuke: *stops dead in his tracks, drops all his bags, rips down his top, strikes a pose* Me+Abbi: *nose bleed, drool, faint, dies, goes to heaven*
The best way (apart from actually going of course) is to watch some videos from the Expo on youtube, there's an offical promo:

I would loveeeeeee to go, money isn't the issue - aslong as it doesn't exceed a £100 ><
it's just the date- I'm scared I might be doing something or something - last time I had a law exam so I couldn't go ><
wait, maybe work..

Taya, when you get back to college, check the exam timetable for that time (it's up on the college network). I have an exam in the morning on the friday but that shouldn't cause too many problems..
And if it's work, BOOK A HOLIDAY! XP I mean, they can't complain about not giving enough notice, can they? half a year notice is damn good..

You can go direct to London from Lincoln now by train, it goes at about 7 am to arrive at 10 am in St Pancreas -So ends my random interjection-

Not 100% sure as the timetables only go three months ahead, I doubt it would be that cheap though, I will proggle around and try and find out for you. There is also a direct train back to Lincoln from St Pancreas at 6:30pm each day. With the trains from Cleethorpes you need atleast 1-5 changes to get there...Which is a bit insane.
Edit: Nope, no idea, the Train Lines time tables and booking don't go that far.

My bodily train system ends at St Bung Hole... If it ended at St Pancreas.... I'd have to consult a doctor.

Just been doing some checks of my own. First of, tickets are for sale on the site now. £24 for the weekend. (Early Entry ones too.)
Second of all, if the prices stay as they are when I checked them, you could get a single from Grimsby to London for £16. And also for the way back too; making that a nice £32 for two tickets. But you A) have to book them in advance on National Rail (Can't do it yet. Something about holding ticket days for 12 week gaps.) And B) the travel down day was for Friday evening. That would mean we would have to see who would be willing to go down on the Friday night so there isn't much running around to settle in on the Saturday.
That brings us to hotels. Haven't been able to find much; but I think we'll be talking on an average of £80 a night after looking at some prices. Most of the cheap ones are pretty much booked already. If anyone has some news on that, please do share. ^^
