Kirsty, tell us what your return-departure times are.

I don't have Luke to troll on the train this time: I fear I may die of boredom if I return alone.

o thanks, =_= I'd be goin home alone ...
(i'll possibly be in Leeds or london..- living)

Though it can be scary since what I do is fall asleep - i'm just scared i'd miss my stop or something... let alone be mugged, threatened or harrassed by unsuspecting people on the bus who just so happen to sit next to you...

Some are going Thursday, some are going Friday. I'm going Thursday.

Yep, 8:33pm, unless you want to pay an extra £25 to go home earlier.

From Grimsby Town, 09:28am

Return:
Monday 26 Oct 2009
From London Kings Cross, 20:33pm

If you order through this link, you can get return tickets for a total of £23.10!!

Kirsty's fare now costs £28, the cheapest (a choice of return times, including Kirsty's, but a later departure) costs £23.10

Depart:
Thursday 22 Oct 2009
From Grimsby Town, 13:36

Return:
Monday 26 Oct 2009
From London Kings Cross, 20:33

The 09:28 departure (Kirsty's) costs £16.45
The 13:36 departure costs £11.55
The return currently costs £11.55 (as does the 19:33 departure, which is an hour earlier than Kirsty's)

Cost for Kirsty's journey: £28
Cost for cheapest journey: £23.10

Prices are changing rapidly, they will probably cost even more by the time anybody reads this - book ASAP

(I'll be booking the same journey as Kirsty, not the cheapest journey)

*VERY IMPORTANT*

Don't order them until tomorrow Taya when you've got your results and know where you're going to be. Make sure you use your student rail card xp!

Just brought Viki's tickets and they have come to £28 which is still a good deal, but like Tom said, they are going to rapidly shoot up.

EDIT: Do you want the good news, or the bad news?

Bad News = Saturday at the London City Airport Travelodge is FULL. o_o as in, there are no more rooms.

Good News = There's another Travelodge around that area (3 miles from Excel Centre) which isn't empty and fairly cheap.

PostSubject: Re: London Expo October 2009   London Expo October 2009 - Page 4 Icon_minitimeFri Aug 28, 2009 11:10 am

Yep, it's a little complicated but I'll try keep it as simple as posible.

1. Open up this link:
http://www.travelodge.co.uk/search_and_book/saver_search.php?search=&action=search&saverSearchType=rooms19&checkInDate=04%2F09%2F2009&locpostText=e16

(Should come up with a page looking like this:

London Expo October 2009 - Page 4 IaminaBADmoodseriouslypeopleannoyme)

2. Change the date to 22/10/2009

3. Select the day you want in the row 'London Barking'

4. Should come up with a new window, at the very bottom select 'Family Room'

5. Then select, in row saver price, 'Book Now'.

6. The rest is fairly straight foreward, you'll have to repeat this process for each night you want to stay seperately or else they charge you £45 for each night o_o

If you have any problems or questions, ring me.

Rooms at Barking are filling up fast. O_O This expo is going to be HUGE.

Unless you want to book a room for yourself, a family room is a room for a family (group of 3-4 people)

It's not that hard Lee =3 Kirsty has given you a nice clear list of instructions, just follow those and it shouldn't be a problem. Lets put it this way, I managed to book my room last May with out any problems (Well after I figured out the whole book each day seperately thing, that was a little bizarre...)

Don't you need to figure out who is sharing with who first anyway?

Thats what I thought beth, the seperatly makes no sense, and I know 4 people share rooms, but is it just 1 person that books them?
