The event itself isn't that great, but the atmosphere and fun of it (+ the shopping) makes it worth it. It's nice to be surround by people who share a common interest. And it's even nicer when there are drool-worthy cosplayers to stalk.

PLUS, it's a change of scenery.

PLUS PLUS! The drama xp - Something to talk about for a few weeks.

Barking was.. homely

Fuck staying at Barking again!

I liked Barking.. But I thought everyone else hated it so I booked for LCA..

LCA is closer to the action - able to infiltrate other hotels, but Barking has food places T_______________T

I liked Barking for the food, but oh well.

Booked family rooms (4 people) for Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday in London City Airport.

Viki and I will be staying in that room, and the other two spots are reserved for Sarah and Laura - if either of them don't want to come, then there'll be beds up for grabs.

I thought you said it was a hell hole?! =_= oh well.. we'll live on all you can eat breakfasts and pot noodles for 4 days..

That's £112 in total!!! For a Family Room too. (that's what we paid Tom.) That's £28 per person based on 4 people in a room.

I will require a spare bed anyone can hold as I can't get one for a large room for myself and Rowan isn't going so it makes me a single. Anyone got rooms available for rent?

I might be able to go to the expo! My grandparents keep asking me what the dates are and where it is etc and they've been talking about going on holiday to london.

I e-mailed grandma back so now I'm manically refreshing my e-mail inbox I'd be staying in the PTI with them so I'd be able to just walk up and meet you guys at ExCeL
