An Idea For Near Christmas (people I know well(ish))

Right before christmas (I think 2-3 days before) my parents are off to Alton Towers for something for my sister. I'm wondering if a selection of you that I know the best are willing/ wanting to come watch MUST SEE films on a day or two (date TBC). If so, we would probably have the likes of: Pulp Fiction, Aliens, Leon, and any other suggestion. No mushy films, this is an action/ comedy film bonanza! It's just an idea right now, but it could develop into something much better... something SPECTACULAR!

So... any takers?

I'm up for that, I know I'm working on the 23rd...well...If I worked it out right, I am.
But yeah, 4 days before that, I'm all free, lemme know when you got a definite time and date sorted.

I suggest we watch Wasabi, la petite moutarde qui monte au nez ("Wasabi, the little mustard that gets right up your nose").. Jean Reno (AKA Leon the Professional, as we know him) goes to Japan.

Synopsis: Reno fucks with the Yakuza and has a cute idol for a relative. Good times.
The source of Reno's catchphrase "Oh no le didn't".

The name arises from the way Jean snacks on wasabi (spicy stuff) whenever he's at a particular bar, as if it were dip, using massive amounts which is an inhuman feat of awesome (in truth, the actor Jean Reno actually has almost no functional tastebuds but has described it as "oddly mellow"). By the end of it, he's eating something resembling a spring roll made of raw wasabi.

It's in French and Japanese but at this point, we're all pretty used to subtitles.
It can get a little bit cheesy at times but it's pretty damn funny for a french action flick.

I saw it boxing day. Many lulz were had.

Your call, kids (I'd see Leon rather than Wasabi any day, but it's worth seeing Wasabi for the quirkiness of the film).

Oooh! Jean Leno is the ONLY french person that I will admit is cool. I dunno why, but I just really like him, he was so funny in "Just Visiting", and when he did the Elvis Presley line in "Godzilla" I lol'd so much XD
