'Christmas' Meal - 15th Dec-10th Jan

No club as you all should know from the 15th of December until the 11th of January so I'm thinking we should all meet up for meal one day between then.

Where? Any suggestions as to where we should dine?

When? Before Christmas or after?

Who? Open to ALL club members of course.

Hmmm ummmm no idea on the meal, (Oreintal Express is always a popular choice!) but Lazer Questing would be great at some point - How about not this Sunday, next Sunday for Lazer Questing?

Road trip to Nando's?

Awwh i'd love to go lazerquesting but im working every weekend and probably most days during the half-term T_T We should go ice-skating on a night time though.

yeah you do the ice skating, ill be sitting out of that one as ive had enough of self humiliation!

id say we go laser questing, and the meal place i do not know, but ill think of something later, in fact we need a place that serves good food and no silly cardboard crap.

I'm liking most of these ideas so far.

Ahhh yes - Iceskating! They have a evening session on Friday I think, we went to it before like 6.30 to 7.30 or 8.00 or something like that...

I don't think there is an Nando's anywhere round here... Lincoln maybe? (Day trip to Lincoln! - They have an outdoor ice rink this year! and a christmas market until the 6th)

It's a bit of a trek to Nottingham

not by train it isnt, but hull dose sound a little okay its just how are we gonna get there? by train? coach? car?

To get to Hull via train you have to go via like Newark or somewhere and change - It's a bit of a convaluted way of getting anywhere really. There is a bus - I was talking to some one about exactly this the other day it was something like £7 (Or it could have been £3.50 each... I wasn't paying 100% attention)

I hear Hull has a big Lazerquest too - No idea where about though.

(I still vote Playtowers!)

Much as I like Notts, it's a hell of a trek, and there's not much there that we couldn't find closer to home

Nottingham has a Center Parks! (But that might be getting a bit carried away...)

Completely true. Nottingham doesn't have anything that everywhere else doesn't have (excluding center parcs and warhammer world).
