Activities for NOVEMBER 2008 n_n

10th November – Anime Trivia! Okay, so this one will need explaining. You can work with others or by yourself (whatever you feel like, but group of 3 at the most) and you need to choose an anime. Take a section of that anime and write 3-5 questions on it. Keep these questions a secret. Then on the night we’ll play the clip/section and then you’ll ask everyone the questions. It’s the person/team who answers the most right over the course of the night that wins! So just to clarify the rules:

1. Get into a team of up to 3 or work by yourself.
2. Choose an anime (which you can bring to the club either on DVD or memory stick etc.)
3. Select a clip/section on of the anime (which is between 3 to 7 minutes long roughly).
4. Write 3 to 5 questions on the clip (make them as easy or as hard as you want i.e. what colour was Sasuke’s top)
5. Bring the clip/section and your questions along on Monday night.

(Just to explain bring in the clip/section, it doesn’t need to be cut out, for example you could bring the anime and fast-forward to the part you selected).


17th November – Bring along your singing voices and musical talent, it’s a Karaoke night! We’ll be karaoke-ing to Japanese anime openings/endings (there’ll be sing-a-long subtitles, don’t worry!) and we’ll have some instruments xp So if you can bring along any instruments/microphones etc that would be great! And if you have any song requests that would really help =D


24th November – Ever fancied some Sushi or an Onigiri? Well tonight is your chance to learn how to make them! I’ll give you more details on this in next few days (on the forum).

Where do i put my music requests?

Can there be One piece openings :3 and I have tons of Ouran high/one piece/FMA/and other anime charater songs XD
are we limited to how many songs we can sing??

OwO I would like to sing Utea jingle bell (its a one piece christmas song *sparkle sparkle*), Minna no Tamago - Shugo Chara! Doki opening 1 :3 its so amusing its got a cute dance >3<

We need to start getting music together, ASAP.

Edit: We need a way of sourcing and providing lyrics with the bouncing ball or this is going to be awful.

Without Alex, I really have no idea what to do on this front.

Dude, the kareoke (spell check?) night went well. Apart from the lack of kareoke in it, lol. I'm not complaining, i can't sing.
