This is actually what the Japanese class as an 'AMV'. They do it differently to us westerners. They take an anime opening and (humm what's the word..) parody it? Copy it? And that's an AMV to them.

Have you ever checked out 'Princess Princess'? It's about three guys in an all-male school where over half the school population has to cross-dress. Somewhat amusing series.
