Live-action "Full Metal Panic!" in the works!

Shoji Gatoh's light novel series "Full Metal Panic!" is reportedly being turned into a live-action film. Mandalay Pictures has acquired the theatrical rights to the action comedy series, which revolves around a young sergeant who masquerades as a high schooler in order to protect a girl. The light novels have been adapted into both anime and manga form.

Actor Zac Efron may be involved in the project. Not much else is known yet about Mandalay's plans for the movie."

Rowan mentioned this which made me freak out.. OMG O___O *squee* I'm so freaking excited. I think I'm the only FMP! fan to actually want Zac to be Sousuke xp;; I just worried about whose going to play Kaname >___< I'm very worried actually..

This just proves that Zac Efron is Light! High School Musical was all part of the master plan..

Oh and I read in one of Abbi's mum's mags, that Zac is a huge fan of comic books *coughmangacough* I expect this live action to go ahead, and I expect Zac to play Sousuke, and I expect to see him at the London Expo 1/2 years from now. Or at least I hope that's what happens >___< I just realised.. D= He could be Kurtz.. nahh xp I think actually, Zac would do okay as Sousuke n_n I have faith in him!

"Actor Zac Efron (High School Musical, Hairspray, 17 Again) told MTV Splash Page that it is still "very early" to discuss Mandalay Pictures' rights to adapt Shoji Gatoh's Full Metal Panic! high school action comedy light novels into a live-action film. While he acknowledges he did have "a meeting on something" for the project, he noted that the project is "to the point where it's more than likely not going to happen." If Zac Efron has anything to do with FMP then I will greatly fall out with the series.

Wha?! Don't say that! O_O Zac Efron is actually a pretty good actor! Watch him in 17 Again. You just need to remember that HSM supressed his talent and true self, but it was all apart of his master plan.

Zac Efron should ditch Vanessa Hudgens and go be a 4chan addict in a little corner somewhere never to be heard from again.
