Convention planning meeting

Anyone interested in going to the London convention, look into some numbers. We're going to start doing the math and getting this together on Monday and by the Monday afterwards, We'd like our planning to be done so we can start making reservations and preparations.

If we get it done early, And book early, it's actually cheaper.

I for one haven't been to a convention before so I'll need as much help as the next weeaboo.

I'm told there's a train which starts at 6:15am from Grimsby that can be in London by 9am. Will we be staying the night then getting the train home or..?

Regarding what you said about trains/plan of action:

Friday 22nd - Catch train to London around Lunch time. Reason for this is one, check in at the hotel is 3pm, two, I have an exam in the morning first thing (not that two is important for you really). That will mean we'll probably arrive end up getting to the hotel for about 5/6pm.

Saturday 23rd - Expo

Sunday 24th - Expo

Monday 25th - Shopping (in the manga shops ?) catch train late-afternoon/evening.


Okay, that's just a sort of general plan. Don't worry too much, I pretty good with directions and I know my way around the area, the tubes, trains etc. And just for people's comfort I'll be printing out maps of the area.. just incase people don't trust me ¬__¬ Soo what I'm trying to say is, never fear! You shall not get lost!

No.. but still he could have read on the expo thread.. or through communication? o_O Oh well.

For the three nights it's £100 at the minute.. so that would work out (based on 3 people sharing a room) £33.34 per person for the three nights.. which would mean each person is paying £11.12 per night! Bargin, or what?

It's probably a girl, but I seriously, love their posts. They are staying at the same travellodge as us =D They make me feel so much better T___T Let's just hope there isn't a fire!
