Competition time!!

As you know since day 1 of the club, we've used a copyrighted image of 'Shana' from Shakugan no Shana as our logo on our poster (shame on us for using a copyrighted image). We also used many a copyrighted images on the sign up sheets we left around Grimsby...

What we want our lovely members to do is...... Create us a logo! The logo has only 4 requirements:

1. The picture is your own, no characters from any anime or manga allowed. Be creative!
2. It must say on it 'The Grimsby Anime and Manga Club'. This can be placed anywhere on it. You can also add in the abbrieviation 'GYAAM' if you feel like it.
3. No offencive material. This includes nudity and gore. We can't really put a poster if it has either of those on it.
4. No guy on guy or girl on girl or animal on guy or animal on girl (those last two are for you kirsty) or anything sexually related allowed. Kids will see this poster so it wont be very good if they see a tree shagging a woman (get the reference, bonus points.)

Now you know what the poster HAS to have. Here are a few things which could pick up extra points for you to win.

. If it has a moto
. If you can put the moto as a 4 character idiom (japanese students should know some, ask them for help.)

Example of a 4 character idiom (Yojijukugo): 一期一会 'IchiGo IchiE', which directly translates to "One Time One Meeting", which can be changed to what we would call "Once in a life time encounter".


Only top prize shall be given out if under 5 people enter, and these have to be of a good quality as you do have a looong time.

3rd place: £5 gift voucher for Waterstones
2nd place: £10 gift voucher to either Waterstones or HMV

1st place: your logo being used, £15 gift voucher for waterstones AND HMV.

hmm I'm really bad on my graphics tablet and I have no patience at all with paper and pen (esp. when it comes to colouring¬_¬ since I'm bad at it) lol

who.. wants to co-op with me ahahaha XD makes me want to play a co-op game now...

I think for the club banner someone should draw all the members in anime form itll be cool ^_^ except were screwed if we get new members...
